Is Windows 7 Slower Than Vista?
There are lots of speculation around the net and lots of claims that Microsoft is cheating its users stating that windows 7 is faster than windows vista which is a previous version of windows before windows 7, so what is the truth is really windows 7 slower than vista and Microsoft is really cheating people regarding windows 7?
I decided to test it out myself and I just bought my copy of windows 7 premium and loaded it up on my Dell notebook which was previously running windows vista and my notebook as 2GB ram and has 160 GB disk space.
Windows Vista takes me approximately around 50 seconds to boot up and windows 7 just takes me around 34 seconds to boot up which proves windows 7 really boots faster than windows vista or even perhaps faster than windows XP, also I find windows 7 definitely a better version than vista in many ways, my applications launches really quicker, it definitely gives you a better feel than vista in terms of speed. So from what I have tested I find windows 7 is definitely a faster version than windows vista. Microsoft is not cheating you!
