Jailbroken iPhone certainly gets your iphone to staring at the face of hackers with a huge grin and unfortunately many iphone users had to learn this lesson a hard way as a dutch hacker displayed this vulnerability to hack in to jailbroken iphone in Netherlands and sent out a message to all of these iphone users when you read it, it will eventually set your mobile background to something as in the picture.

Hacker mostly relied on the unchanged default password iphone root which most people dint change after they jailbroke their phones. Fortunately the hacker didn’t do any harm to these hacked iphones and to their owners but instead he was demanding €5 to remove the strange background staring at them all the time in their iphones.

So as soon as you enter his site you pay €5 to a paypal account after which you will sent details regarding on how to remove the threat and restore it back to factory settings. Hacker later on decided to post the instructions for free seems he got some sympathy for iPhone users. So the instructions were posted on his site for free later on and he reported to have returned the money to people from whom he charged to give them the instructions.

But remember there are many hackers around who could just use the same method to hack your iphones and they may not tell you how to remove the vulnerability or may even be accessing your information without your knowledge and use your services anonymously without your knowledge. So just make sure to change your default iphone root password and also try to turn off SSH daemon while its not in use.
