Well look what we have here. Once again Nintendo leads the pack. Following reports that the video industry had shrunk by a fifth in October, NDP is reporting that December was the best month ever for video game sales.

During that time the Wii sold 3.31 million units and the PS3 raked in cash from over 1.36 million units. The Xbox 360 was just behind with 1.31 million units sold.

No one is saying this is here to stay, but if this is any indication at what 2010 has in store for us, we could once again see the video game wars heat up once more.
