Those rumors about Verizon giving users less hassle and a few more options to save money were actually true.

Today Verizon announced the details of it’s new pricing plans that will be available February 18th. The plans include:

Unlimited Talk for $69.99
Unlimited Talk & Text for $89.99.
Unlimited Family Talk (first two lines) $119.99
Unlimited Family Talk & Text (first two lines) $149.99

If you decide to use those plans sans a contract, there will be an additional $5 a month tacked onto your bill. The bad news is Verizon will be requiring a $9.99 25MB mobile data plan on every single pone that does a little more then just talk. All smartphones will be required to have a $29.99 Unlimited Data plan and as previously announced, early termination fees on smartphones is $350.
