With the success of Nintendo DS line, Nintendo has officially confirmed that DSi LL will be out in Japan this November 21st for ¥20,000 (US$220) which makes it pricier than the Sony PSP-3000 but cheaper than the PSP Go, and will be available in Dark Brown, Wine Red and Natural White. The launching of the new DSi LL in the US will be early next year. Nintendo UK announces that this will be available in the first quarter of 2010 and it will be called DSi XL
Nintendo DSi LL is basically a slightly larger version of the camera-enabled DSi hand-held gaming system with larger 4.2-inch dual screens and a stylus upgrade while DSi model had smaller 3.25-inch screens. DSi LL battery can last around four to five hours in extensive use mode and approximately 13-17 hours in energy saving mode which is 25% improvement over DSi but with the same resolution as the previous DSi.
