The IPod Touch 4th Generation model is more attractive than the first three generations of ipod touch where it weights around 115 grams and height up to 110 mm. The 3.2 inch diagonal with multi touch display and the audio frequency response from 20 Hz to 2000 Hz where these device will accept the Mp3, apple lossless, AIFF and WAV. The built in lithium battery has been used in this device have to be charged for about 4 hours of time. The video and audio program can be used around 36 hours when the battery is fully charged. The windows system requirement to connect the device requires windows XP with service pack 2 or vista and Mac system requirements are Mac OSxv10.4.11. And the most important thing is ipod Touch 4th Generation has high quality Camera.
Sorry all, those all above only my dream or prediction and my wish list for the next release of iPod Touch 4th generation from apple.com. And about the Price, I thought the next generation price is would be $499, and the capacity is 128 GB, I said that because we learn from the previous generation:

Completely the same as the last 3 generations.
All the itouch models look the same. This one is supposed to have a camera though. Thats what Im waiting for. Plus the video above has that little black thing in the corner and is thicker than the 3G so I think its a fake video.
This is 100% fake. Three reasons :
1. Apple almost never reveals its iPod products half a year (or more) before release.
2. Apple will also never release an ad before it reveals its iPod.
3. Such specific information cannot be obtained before the iPod starts shipping. Only guesstimates.
It looks a lot like the 1st gen itouch and it doesn’t even have a camera like it suppose to have. Rumor is the 4th gen itouch is going to have one.
That video was of the ipod touch 1st generation. I know because my brother has one and it looks exactly the same and does the same things.

Lots of of bloggers aren’t really pleased with the new iPad.There was too much hype over it and alot people got turned off.Quite frankly, I actually see some of the awesome potential uses of the device. Third-party apps for working with tunes, games, papers and magazines and FFS books, all sorts of good stuff, but IMHO they failed to sell it right (excluding the books). It looks kinda not finished
i think it is the same as the 3 gen but mic and camera u might as well bye the iphone because it has a phone and u would be paying around the same i think this is very SILLY
well not everyone is signed with AT&T. Some of us are forced to wait for an ipod touch with a camera instead of an iphone. As for the ipad, I think it is a great device that is totally worth the money! I’d just wait until they come out with the next generation because of all the empty space in the back of this one! the next one is going to be even BETTER!!!

Basically, I’ve been researching for the better part of today on the iPod touch. Because i recently dropped my iTouch on the floor and the screen cracked (but the touch screen still works perfectly) and my dad is convinced that he can fix it if he buys the parts off of ebay, being the fix it man he is. Now, my dad WAS head of an automotive company before he recently retired so him fixing my iPod shouldn’t come out that badly but i’m still apprehensive. Why bother fixing it when the touch screen still works and i’ve lived with it like that for about 2 months? Plus, Christmas is sneaking up on us so why fix it when i could get a new ipod for christmas?
Long story short: Do you think the iPod touch 4th gen will be out for Christmas or do you think i should fix my 2nd gen? If not christmas then january? Cuz thats when my birthday is.
Please provide your opinion!
@ XMAN: the iPod touch 1st Gen. and the newer generations look NOTHING alike. The only thing that is the same is the front of the device.

well it depends on what u want. i heard the new ipod touch 4th gen might have a camera but i don’t know if it’s worth it…i heard the new one will come in sept. and its 9th of it. if i was your place id fix the ipod and live with it. there are no big differences between the ipod 4 and ipod 2. ok happy to help u..bye and good luck
I wonder what the starting price for the GEN4 will be?
New Ipod touch is going to be slimmer, it is going to have a facetime web camera on top in the middle where the speaker would be in the iphone, it will have a rear facing HD camera also. It does not have chrome anymore, now it has a aluminum based back. Last but not least it has a retina display. This product will be available next week. You will be able to Pre-Order the ipod touch in just a few hours.
I forgot there is one more thing that is coming with the ipod touch 4th generation ipod touch, which is the A4 processor.
