Android based phones. The one complaint about Android based phones that you hear all of the time is how many of them there are. To the average person, it seems like once a month that there is a new and more powerful Android based phone that is coming out. It may seem like it but this is not exactly true. All though they may seem the same because they run the same operating system, all of the Android phones that are released to the market have different features. Some of the phones may have different hardware; other phones may have different software capabilities. It is up to you as the consumer to know what you need and look for the phone that will best fulfill that. If you are a person that has a need for a phone with just the basics, then there are plenty of Android based phones that will suit your needs. Some of the phones do not come with touch screens, others do not have a camera on them. The only things that the phones do are allow you to talk to people and send out texts. If you need more power
If you are a person that needs a phone to be more than just a phone then an Android based phone is the perfect place for you to start. There are so many phones that are available for you to use that are considered high end that you will have a nice time choosing between them. As we said earlier, just because these phones are high end and they run the Android operating system you should not consider them to be the same phone. You have the Nexus One which is a phone with a lot of power but not as many extra accessories as the other phones that are available. You have the Incredible which is the Android phone that was supposed to go head to head with the IPhone. And you have the HTC Evo 4G which is a phone that is filled with features that it even surpasses the IPhone 4. So as you see, even among the high end phones there are differences. If you wanted a phone that was good for multimedia, then you should choose the Evo. If you wanted a phone that would be good for business and had a long battery life, then the Nexus One is the phone for you.

Picking the right phone will take a little bit of patience on your part. There are many to choose from but they are all different.
